Outstanding business performance requires outstanding HSE performance. This means the protection of the health and safety of our people and of those affected by our business, the protection of our physical assets and reputation and the protection of the environment.
 
Our goal is zero injuries. We conduct our business in a responsible manner and go beyond compliance with local regulation to meet internationally accepted good practice in health, safety and environmental protection.
 
We recognize that HSE is everyone's responsibility and that we each have a duty to intervene to prevent unsafe actions and to reinforce good behaviors. The safe delivery of projects and operation of facilities is a critical success factor - it is not just the end result that matters, we care about how we get there.
 
At YTC, safety is a primary concern. Our safety officer visits each individual l project site, performs regular staff training and networks with others to insure safe working conditions are being maintained. Safety meetings are held on each project site between the YTC site staff and subcontractors to stress the importance of jobsite safety and to keep safety in the minds of each individual working on the site.

We aggressively manage our safety program through education and leadership. Our safety efforts are based on our belief that every one of our employees is entitled to a safe and healthy working environment.
We recognize that the protection of our employees, property, the public, and the environment are essential to the efficient and successful completion of every construction project we undertake.
